Jack is an android made by the Mishima Zaibatsu and G Corporation for many different reasons. Jack has made an appearance in every Tekken (except Tekken 4), but under a different name each time as he is upgraded as the game series goes on.

Initially, Jack was created as a henchman of the Mishima Zaibatsu, but was later used in different experiments or as a Jack died he would be upgraded to a new model.

Original Jack

Jack is the original model and made his appearance in Tekken. This Jack was made by the Mishima Zaibatsu to get rid of Kazuya Mishima.

Jack 2

Jack-2 is an upgrade of Jack created by the Mishima Zaibatsu and is a playable character in Tekken 2. Jack-2 witnesses a young girl's Jane mother being killed and takes her in and looks after her until he is killed.

Gun Jack

Gun Jack is an upgrade of Jack 2 created by Jane and is a playable character in Tekken 3 and Tekken Tag Tournament. Gun Jack was made to have Jack-2's memories and know who Jane is. He is better than the previous Jacks as he has loaded cannons on his arms and has the ability to fly. He is destroyed by the Tekken Force's Gunfire.

Jack 4

Jack-4 is an upgrade of Gun Jack created by the G Corporation to kill Kazuya Mishima in the opening sequence of Tekken 5 as they are not actually playable fighters. Jack-4 has been embedded with a self destruct bomb in which it's face will peel off and reveal the timer (which was shown when they nearly killed Heihachi Mishima. Despite the "4" at the end, this Jack wasn't in Tekken 4 and was the only Jack who wasn't playable in any Tekken games.
