Known as The Cat Devil, Kunimitsu was a former member of the ninja bandits, Manji Posse, led by Yoshimitsu. While she was with the ninja bandits, she was taught the skills of stealth knive, untill she left when when the band was stolen from. Soon after, she trained as a mechanic, untill she entered the first King of Iron Fist Tournament, with the goal to steal a pendant from Michelle Chang.

After the first tournament, Kunimitsu had gone into hiding, where she went to her grandfather. She was told by her grandfather that the sword weilded by Yoshimitsu was a powerful relic, so she entered the second King of Iron Fist tournament to steal Yoshimitsu's sword.

In Tekken 5 and 6 Yoshumitsu can equip Kunimitsu's mask, dagger and pants.
