Lee Chaolan is the adopted son of Heihachi Mishima and the foster brother of Kazuya who is also is a rival to him. Lee's fighting style is mixed as he trained with Paul Phoenix and Marshall Law so has some of their moves.

He also has an alter ego, named Violet, whom created Combot in Tekken 4.

Most of his reasons for entering the tournaments are to get revenge agaist his "family".
