Panda, a character appearing in every Tekken from Tekken 3 onwards is the pet and bodyguard of Ling Xiaoyu. Panda is usualy a different costume for Kuma, so they both have the same fighting style. In Tekken 3, Panda is taught the same fighting style as Kuma by Heihachi Mishima, so she can be Ling Xiaoyu's bodyguard for the third King of Iron Fist Tournament. During Tekken 4, Panda doesn't act as a bodyguard to Ling Xiaoyu, but instead searches for Kuma. In Tekken 5, Panda is once again the bodyguard of Ling Xiaoyu, who enters the fifth King of Iron First Tournament and this also goes for the 6th.
