Raven, a ninja wearing mostly black with a X scar across his face, first appears in Tekken 5. In Tekken 5, Raven is ordered by the secret organisation that he works for to find out who is behind the fifth King of Iron Fist Tournament, which he enters. Before the tournament, Raven is the first one to see the explosion of Hon-Maru, where after he reports that Heihachi Mishima is dead, when he was only knocked away as a result of the explosion that was created via the Jack-4's.
