Tekken 6 is the sixth (seventh, if counting Tekken Tag Tournament) game in the Tekken series. The features from Tekken 6: Bloodline Rebellion are included on the console versions of Tekken 6. The game has the biggest roster in any Tekken game released yet. Unlike previous Tekken characters, all characters are unlocked from start. Other than the fighting modes, both offline and online, Tekken 6 also features the Scenario Campaign mode, similar to that of Tekken Force and Devil Within from the previous games. But unlike those modes, Scenario Campaign is the game's Story mode.

The game became notorious for the big wait between the Arcade version and the console versions, as it was released nearly 2 years after the Arcade version, with numerous delays. It was also originally meant to be a PlayStation 3 exclusive when it comes to consoles.

[edit] Gameplay

New to the game is the bound system. Certain attacks can make the opponent bounce off the ground, opening the possibility for more juggles. The rage system is also introduced. When the character's health is low, red will glow around them and their attacks will become slightly more powerful. Item moves that can be bought through the Customization feature can now be used as an additional move to the character's moveset. Every character has item moves.
